Nikki sighed sitting down in at a table with her hot choclate she sighed looking out of he window. She brushed her hair back behind her ear and took a sip before pulling out a pad of paper and sketching out a couple sat in the corner.

Nikki looked at the finished sketch in front of her. Looking at her cup it was empty and was deciding whether to get another drink or go back to the school. She took out her mobile to check her inbox. Nothing. Not a sausage.

Elizabeth walked into the Tea Room door hitting her head of the glass. Looking up from her book she shook her head.
Striding into the Tea Room hoping no one had seen her little embarrassing accident she wandered over to the counter. Ordering and collecting a steaming mug of tea she looked around for a table. Heading over to one of the free window seats she tripped over a young girls foot.
sorry. she apologised as the hot liquid trickled down her arm. Squealing inside with the pain of the burn she forced a smile.

Nikki looked up at this person stood there. She said nothing. Just stared at the other girl. Thought rolling through her head. She sighed before turning back to the cup remembering it was empty and started picking at the corner of her notepad.

would you like me to get you another cup of tea or anything? Elizabeth asked noticing she had spilt a little bit of tea onto the young girls trousers. as an apology for getting a little tea on you. she smiled awkwardly shuffling her feet on the tilled floor.

Nikki shook her head. I didn't notice it anyway. Nikki sighed looking back at the pad. I'm fine anyways, well no, that's brothers for you... Anyways what's your name?

Elizabeth... she smiled. whats yours? she asked.

[Duckie]

Nichola, but everyone calls me Nikki. Nikki smiled slightly. Nikki leaned back on the chairs back legs trying to balance on just the two proving unsuccesful as she fell backwards and rolled over. Fuck!

Elizabeth gasped. Throwing her books and drink onto the table she assisted Nikki and helped her up.
you ok? she asked.

[Duckie]

I'm fine. Just fine. Nikki huffed as she sat bacl down. I should go... not be in public. I'm a walking disaster. Nikki said making random hand gestures to go with what she was saying.

Elizabeth furrowed her eye brows in confusion. okayyy. she said. I'll just go get the drinks. she said skipping off to get them.
Returning with to warm mugs of hot liquid she placed them on the table.
mind if i sit down? she asked Nikki pointing towards the free seat.

[Duckie]

Oh... Nikki sat down, taking out her phone to check it. Still nothing she flipped the phone shut with such force it flopped out of her hand into her drink. Oh damn and fucking blast. Nikki muttered trying to fish the phone out of the tea. Ahhh Basdard Nikki muttered withdrawing her fingers from the cup after getting scalded. You have a spoon?

er... no. Elizabeth replied slightly shocked at the unfortunate events that were happening to this young girl in such a short period of time. 'and i thought i was unlucky' she said standing from her seat and running over to the counter. Picking up a spoon she rushed back to the table knocking her leg against one of the chairs as she did so. Scrunching her face with the pain she dropped the spoon on the table and sat down.

Thanks. Nikki fished the phone out and placed it on the table. She picked up the serviette and tried to dry off the phone. Will it work or not? She opened it and pressed the on button. The screen remained blank. Great Danny's going to kill me... I'm going to need another new phone... my 5th in 3 months.

oops Elizabeth said. I'm guessing Danny's your brother right? she replied picking up her tea.

[Duckie]

Yes... Nikki looked back at her pad and opened it pulling it down so Elizabeth couldn't see it. Nikki picked up her pencil and started sketching Elizabeth.

Elizabeth raised and lowered one eyebrow at Nikki.
do you get on well with him? she asked taking a sip of her tea but it trickling down the side of the mug onto her already tea stained shirt. fuck! she cursed taking a serviette and wiping it roughly.

Huh? Danny. Yeah, really well. I just think it's got to something with grandma working at Winterburn High and are parents... well... lets not go there. Nikki looked up. You know most of thats dried now so your better off leaving it till you get home so you can put it straight in the washing machiene. Nikki smiled before screwing up her face as she drew the final pat of her sketch.

thanks for the advice. Elizabeth smiled throwing the serviette beside her. wooo your family work here... god that must be hard. working and living up to their expectations in front of them.... what do they teach? she asked intrigued.

Grandma teaches English. The most boring subject in the world. I normally end up falling asleep. Nikki pushed the pad of paper back on to the table satisfied that she had finished she threw the pencil down and it rolled straight across the table and onto the floor. She slid down under the table to retrieve it but misjudged getting back up and smashed her head onto the table. Ooooff Nikki emerged from under the table rubbing her head before placing the pencil back on the table.

erghh English ... its poopy. she giggled her eye contact being drawn to the drawing before her. wow! Elizabeth gasped That drawing is amazing. You are so talented. she smiled.

[Duckie]

Talented at drawing or being clumsy? Nikki murmured before gulping down what was left of her mobile flavoured drink. Nikki sat there wondering what Danny was up to.

at drawing. Elizabeth smiled being interrupted by her ringing phone. Turning she knocked her drink the liquid spilling off the edge of the table and down her front covering her clothing. fuck fuck fuck! she swore pulling the cup onto the table and wiping the access liquid with the already damp serviette.

Nikki giggled. So I'm thinking your soggy. I'm bored and my phones busted. Wanna go back to mine? Well mine and my brothers flat thingy in the school... Nikki asked grabbing her pad away from any stray tea. Standing up she leaned back over the table to pick up her dead phone shoving it back in her pocket.
