Landing on the bench Elizabeth rested her head in her hands and sobbed.
why did you cry? he won't come back and you have probably just freaked out those two lovely people... you silly billy! she cursed herself allowing the tears to trickle down her face. why did you have to get involved that day? why did you protect me? why didn't i help you? she sobbed thinking about past events. I'm so fucking stupid!! she sighed lying back against the seat.

You're not stupid. Danny said leaning on the wall. Now Nikki is the stupid one. Do you wanna talk? just dont run that fast again please? He said coming over and sitting on the bench, wrapping his arm round her shoulders.

Elizabeth hugged him, sobbing into his chest.
he tried to protect me Danny. They wanted to hurt me and I let them but he stopped them, but they were stronger and hurt him and now .... she couldn't bring herself to say it. hes... my ickle brother... hes gone. she cried. and its all my fucking fault!!

Danny sat there silently thinking about what he could say to make it better. I'm sure it's not your fault, as it was his choice to step in and stop them from hurting you. Danny looked down at Elizabeth and ran his hand through her hair trying to soothe her.

I was stronger than him... I am stronger than all those people who hurt me and killed him. I could have stopped them but I swore I wouldn't use my ability .... I could have saved him... I hate myself Danny. she sobbed gazing into his crystal blue eyes.

Listen to me. What happene happened but dont dwell in the past. Would your brother want to see you like this? You might be sad but remember the good times not the bad. Danny whispered wiping away Elizabeths tears.

Elizabeth nodded sadly smiling weakly. you're right Danny. she hugged him tighter. thank you for helping me see sense.

fine then ... Elizabeth giggled speeding off. try and catch me. she said returning and throwing a handful of random leaves at him before rushing off again. Racing around the school grounds smiling happily.

Danny sighed and looked down at the ground picking up the earth and muttered To earth. With that he crumbled into pieces of dirt and sauntered across the ground until he was happy with his position and waited for Elizabeth to zoom by. As she came towards him he prepared himelf and snatched at her leg. Ha got you. He shouted as he turned back into his normal self rather than billions of pieces of dirt.

fuck meeeee! she screeched falling to the floor. christ I'm sorry i doubted you. she said looking at Danny in shock.

Danny giggled. No fucking. And I'm sure you had good reason to doubt me He looked down at Elizabeth. Hey ermmm do you have a shorter nickname or something.
