Troubled Times...

Tom rushed to the park, panting away, he had to come here, he felt really bad that Nikki was upset and there was nothing he could do about it.

Nikki wandered into the park kicking stones. She wandered around aimlessly before stopping at the tree, her tree. She smiled before pulling herself up a few branches before slipping on the damp branches. She plummeted to the ground and landed with a thud staring up at the sky slightly dazed.

Tom stirred hearing a thud come from not to far away. He stood up looking around him, messing his hair up to look 'natural'. He saw a body under neath a tree, he walked over beginning to recognise the body. Nikki. He whispered to himself. Nikki. He shouted, rushing over to her, slumping down next to her. Are you ok. He placed his arm under her head to support her.

Are you an angel? Nikki asked rather vacantly raising her hand and stroking Tom's cheek with her thumb. You are an angel. Nikki muttereed her arm flopping down and her eyes rolling into the back of her head as she slipped unconcious.

Tom looked at Nikki. I'm not an angel Nikki. Then he paniced as she slipped unconscious. Nikki, wake up Nikki, wake up please. He began shaking her body.

Nikki's eyes slowly opened. She groggily looked around. Stop shaking me Danny, I dont wanna get up yet. Nikki muttered, she looked up properly. And you're not Danny. She muttered feeling slightly scared.

Tom felt relieved when Nikki came back round. No I'm not Danny, I'm Tom, remember. He looked at her concerned about her state.

Tom... Nikki muttered looking up at him blinking. Nope. Can't remember you cos your old. Way older. Nikki replied giggling.

Tom felt his panic rise, that was until she giggled. So not funny Nikki, I was really worried about you. He looked at her, kissing her forehead. What were you doing anyway.

EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. Nikki started to slap him. Don't kiss me you old person. Leave me alone. I want my brother. She replied tears brimming at her eyes as she began to crawl along the floor.

Tears began to approach Tom's eyes. Nikki do you not remember me. He looked at her as a stray tear fell from his eye. He felt heart broken, devastated.

Why, am I suppose to? Nikki asked confused knowing full well he must mean something to her.

Tom looked shocked at her. Nikki we are boyfriend and girlfriend. It was only yesterday that you told me that you loved me. He felt some more tears leave his eyes. He couldn't believe that Nikki couldn't remember him. But if you want I'll just go and get Danny.

You love me, and you're my boyfriend. Now thats just yakky. You're older and i'm eleven. Nikki hugged Tom though sensing he was hurting. I'm not eleven anymore am I? Nikki asked her eyes pleading for the truth.

Tom looked at her. No Nikki, you're 16 now. He kept looking at her, not really knowing what else to do. Do you want me to go and get Danny. He asked, thinking this would be the best thing to do.
