Running...

Nikki pegged it into the park and ran up to where she and Tom was the night before. She smiled at the memor before running up to a tree and started to climb up it. She hauled herself up branch by branch until she was as high as she could go. Sitting on the branch she sighed looking out over Bolton as a small tear fell as she thought about Tom and Danny suddenly going at each other.

Tom just wandered. Thinking about where Nikki could've gone. NIKKI. He screamed out again. His thoughts cast back to the night before, the fun they had with no worries, no over protective brother, just the two of them. NIKKI. Then he thought, the night before, the park. He ran off towards the park, hoping he'd remember the way. He shouted Nikki all the way, hoping soon he'd get a reply.

Nikki remained sat on the tree hearing Tom call out. She didn't want to reply she just wanted to be alone for a while but despite that she still called out. Tom? Nikki asked.

Tom heard her voice and felt relieved. He raced towards the voice. Are you ok. He asked her, looking around for her, he couldn't see her in his eyeline. Where are you. He continued looking around for her.

Im up here. Nikki called down from the tree top as she felt her shoe slip off and travel down to the ground. Shit bollock. She said as she watched the shoe land beside Tom. Do you mind bring that up? Nikki asked.

Tom watched as her shoe narrowly missed him. Of course I will bring it up. He picked it up and began to climb the tree towards. I'm sorry about earlier. He began etching his way along the branch towards Nikki.

Nikki faaced away from him not wanting him to see her tears. It's ok I guess. She whispered staring vacantly out over the town and otherplaces. She sighed and wiped away some of her tears.

Tom placed his arms around her. But it's not ok is it. All we both want is whats best for you. Tom sighed. We just don't see eye to eye and that's whats makes us the way we are. Tom rested his head on her shoulder. I shouldn't wind him up.

But why not for once in his life can Danny not be calm about something. Nikki muttered to herself before leaning her head against Tom's. The scary thing is that I'm scared of how fast I'm falling... falling for you... Nikki finished with the last bit being barely audible.

Because he's your brother, he just wants to look after you, he has no stop button. His arms wrapped around Nikki tighter. I fell for you almost the moment we met. He blushed. That's what Danny is scared about, that things are moving fast between us. He kissed her neck before sighing.

No Tom... I mean as in I'm scared that I have actually fallen fallen for you... I... I think I love you and I'm scared what Danny will do if I tell him that. Nikki muttered blushing a deep red.

Tom's head raised from Nikki. He will just have to understand that is the way you feel. That is the way we feel. He was also scared of how Danny would react, what he'd do to stop them from being together.

Nikki looked up at Tom and smile gingerly. I love you. Nikki muttered again kissing Tom.

I love you too. He grinned, kissing her back. And I promise everything will be fine. He pulled her closer to him.

Everything will be fine. Nikki muttered as a yawn escaped her lips and she leant against Tom in the warmth of his arms.
