The Matthews House

Nikki shook her head. Fridge went boom. Twas no suppose to go boom. I only wanted breakfast, She wailed slightly still staring at the black remains of the fridge. She felt a couple of tears prickle at her eyes. What's happening to me? She asked half heartedly not sure if she wanted to know the answer. Danny walked through the room and opened the windows trying to help the remenants of the smoke leave. He walked over and picked up the handle what once belonged to the frying pan. He looked over at Nikki concerned.

Tom walked over to Nikki and sat down next to her. It'll be the baby, messing your powers around. He hugged her tightly wiping her strays tears away and smiling at the others. You'll get us to it over time.

Harry rested his hand on Nikki's shoulder to attempt to reassure her that everything would be ok. Standing to his feet he left Tom to comfort and care for Nikki and approached Danny to help him clear the mess up.

Standing in the doorway of the kitchen Lizzie peered around the smoke filled room in awe. whoa. she blurted out staring at the scene before her slightly bewildered that such a small girl could have such a huge impact on two kitchen appliances.

I don't want to get use to it. Nikki half srceamed more tears falling. She felt herself begin to panic. She was changing so much she couldn't keep up. What if my powers end up hurting someone, you? Nikki announced to the room still starivng vacantly around. Danny looked over at Nikki and sighed. He could see was beginning to crack she couldn't take all this pressure at once. Danny motioned towards the livingroom. Come on leave this for now, I think everyone needs rest for one reason or another.

Tom looked down at Nikki. I think Danny's right you know. Come on, we can get throught this together. He smiled down at her, hoping she'd calm down, he didn't want to see her like this and stressing out would not help the baby either.

Harry nodded in response to Danny and approached Lizzie. Dragging her away from the door way he pushed her into the living area much to her complaints and grunts of disapproval of being moved in such a unnecessary manner.

I'm still scared. Nikki muttered clinging to Tom feeling tears flood from her eyes. What if I hurt one of you? Nikki asked again still rather scared of her powers. Danny followed Harry and Lizzie into the other room and flopped onto the sofa hoping Tom would make Nikki see sense.

Tom sighed. You won't, we will sort this out I promise you. He pulled her up from the floor. We will find out what makes you like this and stop it, you will hurt no-one that you don't want to. He smiled, kissing her lips softly, running one hand through her hair.

Lizzie glared at Harry before skipping over to Danny. Sitting down on his knee she giggled softly. you ok Dandan? she asked slightly concerned that he had fell silent after leaving the kitchen.

Harry wandered over to the chair in the corner of the room and fell into it. Leaning into the soft material he sighed.

Nikki clung to Tom and hugged him close. I'm still scared though. She whispered to him again. I'm still worrying over the baby and everything. I just wish we could get away. Nikki whispered somewhat gingerly.
Danny looked at Lizzie and nodded. I'm ok as I can be considering my little sister just blew up the fridge Danny muttered to Lizzie.

Tom looked down at her. Then we'll go if you really want to. He looked in to her eyes, holding her hands in his. I'll do anything to make you happy you know that. He pulled her in to a tight embrace.

its just a repercussion of the baby probably ... and stress. she probably didn't intend to use that much force and because shes worried and what not she did. Lizzie shrugged unsure. dont worry about her... she'll be fine. she smiled reassuringly as she hugged him tightly.

Looking up at the ceiling Harry thought about ways in which he could try and help Nikki. He felt so helpless not being able to do anything for her.

Where would we go though? Nikki asked bewildered that Tom was so willing to go somehere. She hugged him back tightly,
Danny looked at Lizzie, I guess but I will still worry. Danny muttered.

Tom smiled. Anywhere, it doesn't matter as long as it makes you happy that is all I care about. He kissed her forehead holding her tightly.

Anywhere? Nikki grined hoping Tom meant that. If you mean anywhere then how about I get to meet your mum and sis. Nikki muttered prodding Tom on the chest hoping he wouldn't go mad.
